Intelligence was never a single mind.
The intelligence businesses need does not live in a model, nor in a single person. It lives in the way people and machines work together.
Thinking belongs to humans: making sense, choosing, being accountable for the consequences. Reasoning over large volumes, recognising patterns, calculating without tiring is what machines do best. Thomas Malone, at the MIT Center for Collective Intelligence, calls this system a supermind. Siderius designs it.

Directing and video · Images with AI
Onymous Studios is a film and multimedia production company and creative agency, and a founding partner of Siderius. The collaboration is ongoing: what Synesthetic Design designs, Onymous turns into images, video and campaigns.
Films, campaigns and content for digital channels.
Visual production combining photography, sets and generative AI.
Art books, visual identities, launch materials.
Among the projects made together: The Hidden Thread, the art book for Roberto Novello.

As a Benefit Corporation, Siderius pursues common-benefit purposes alongside profit by statute, reports on them every year in a public report, and its directors are accountable for them.
For us it means spreading knowledge, making research accessible to small businesses too, and giving back to the field what we develop.

Precise answers.
Method, AI and company data, ways of working. The questions we are asked most often, with short, verifiable answers. Can’t find yours? Write to us using the form below.
The method
What is Synesthetic Design?
It is the design method developed by Siderius. It combines the cognitive sciences, in particular research on perception and on correspondences between the senses, with market and business data, to design products, brands, experiences and digital tools based on how people perceive, remember and choose.
How is it different from neuromarketing?
Neuromarketing measures people’s reactions to stimuli that already exist. Synesthetic Design starts earlier: it uses what research knows about perception to design the stimuli, then tests them with real people and with data. Measurements are used to calibrate the project, not to judge it after the fact.
What scientific foundations is it based on?
Predictive coding (the brain anticipates what it is about to perceive), cross-modal correspondences (associations between senses shared by most people) and multisensory integration. The sources are listed on the method page, with references to the scientific articles.
What is North?
It is Siderius’ platform for managing Synesthetic Design projects. It gathers stimuli, responses and company data, builds the sensory map, tests the variants and measures the result over time.
AI and company data
Can AI be introduced without changing the ERP?
Yes. Our agents read the data from the outside, in read-only mode, without modifying the ERP code or installing modules. People ask questions in plain language and get traceable answers based on real data. This is the myMirau case, described on the blog.
Where does my data stay?
In your company. We work in read-only mode on the ERP, inside the internal network and, where needed, with local models. Platform, data and decisions remain the client’s.
Do you always use AI?
No. AI is used where it produces a verifiable advantage. Legal thresholds are calculated deterministically and every agent answer states its source.
What does the AI Act require of companies on training?
Since 2 February 2025, Article 4 of the European Regulation on artificial intelligence requires organisations that use AI systems to ensure a sufficient level of AI literacy among their staff. We design tailored training programmes for managers and teams, which can also be funded through Italian inter-professional training funds.
What is the PPWR and how do you help companies prepare?
It is the European Regulation on packaging and packaging waste, (EU) 2025/40. With the Packaging Compliance service, AI reads supplier documents and drafts the declarations, fixed rules calculate the legal thresholds, and people check and sign. The method grew out of a project with Zanin 1895.
Working with us
Is it only suitable for large companies?
No. We start with a pilot project with a small scope and success criteria written before we begin. For SMEs and emerging brands we are preparing North Guided, a guided path at a contained cost.
Which sectors do you work in?
Mainly food & beverage, luxury, fashion and manufacturing. Also pharmacy, wellness and cosmetics, automotive, and projects where the relationship between people and machines needs rethinking.
How does a project start?
With a first conversation in which we establish which data to start from, which constraints apply and how to measure the result. From there we propose a pilot with written objectives, timing and verification criteria.
What does it mean to work with a Benefit Corporation?
A Benefit Corporation pursues common-benefit purposes alongside profit by statute and reports on them every year in a public report. For clients, it means transparency on method and results; for the community, training, accessible research and free tools such as V per Vedetta.
