A commitment written into our articles.
As an Italian Benefit Corporation (Società Benefit), Siderius pursues common-benefit purposes alongside profit by statute, reports on them every year in a public report, and its directors are accountable for them. This page explains what our purposes are and keeps track of every project through which we pursue them.

«Responsible innovation does not only benefit those who own it: it raises the level of the system it operates in.»
Three commitments, measured every year.
01
Shared knowledge
Actively spreading what we know: transparent methods, training, research published with verifiable sources.
02
Accessible research
Making perceptual research and AI accessible to small businesses and emerging brands too, and giving back to the field what we develop.
03
People’s safety
Building free tools that protect people, where machines and human moderation work together.
Everything we give back.
Every benefit project enters this register with the purpose it pursues, its status and its start year. The register feeds the annual impact report.

Knowledge is given back.
Spreading what we know is one of our common-benefit purposes. We run outreach and training on artificial intelligence, perception and strategy for young people, schools, companies, associations and public bodies.
Young people and schools
Labs and meetings to understand how AI and perception work, and to use them critically.
Companies
Tailored programmes for managers and teams: strategy, tools, use cases, including through funded training schemes.
Associations and public bodies
Talks and series of meetings for public bodies, trade associations and the third sector.
The public

Annual report 2026
Every year we report publicly on our common-benefit purposes: what we did, with what results, what we will do next.
Do you have a project with a common benefit?
We work with universities, researchers, public bodies and companies on projects that give knowledge or tools back to people.
Benefit Corporation, in brief.
What being an Italian Benefit Corporation means and how we report on our commitment.
Benefit Corporation
What is an Italian Benefit Corporation (Società Benefit)?
It is a company that, in addition to profit, pursues one or more common-benefit purposes set out in its articles, operating in a responsible, sustainable and transparent way. It is provided for by Italian Law no. 208 of 28 December 2015, art. 1, paragraphs 376–384.
What is the difference between a Benefit Corporation and a B Corp?
The Società Benefit is a legal form provided for by Italian law and written into the articles of association. B Corp is a private certification issued by an external body. Siderius is a Società Benefit.
How is impact reported?
Every year a Benefit Corporation publishes an impact report on its common-benefit purposes. Our benefit project register feeds the 2026 report, currently in preparation.
Our commitments
What are Siderius’ common-benefit purposes?
Three: shared knowledge, meaning training and research published with verifiable sources; research accessible to small businesses and emerging brands too; people’s safety, with free tools such as V per Vedetta.
Who do you train and reach out to?
Young people and schools, companies, associations and public bodies, and the public at trade fairs, conferences and on the blog.
Can I collaborate on a benefit project?
Yes. We work with universities, researchers, public bodies and companies on projects that give knowledge or tools back to people. You can propose a project using the form at the bottom of the page.
